The Portland Community Chamber actively advocates for improvements within the City of Portland. This year we worked closely with the city and other organizations to create Portland’s first official economic development plan. This important document has become the touchstone for the new mayor and the city council as it considers its efforts in this area. The PCC also works to make sure that this plan receives the active support of the community.

The Portland Chamber creates the best business networking opportunity in the state with our monthly Eggs and Issues program. With speakers such as Senator Olympia Snowe, former Senator George Mitchell, Governor Paul LePage, US Small Business Administrator Karen Mills and experts such as healthcare guru T.R. Reid, these breakfasts attract thousands of attendees and continue to be can’t-miss events for businesspeople in the region.
