Join artists Pamela Moulton and Titi de Baccarat for a multi-generational art workshop celebrating artistic traditions from cultures represented in Portland’s Immigrant communities. Participants will create imaginary, surreal, and multi-cultural wishing houses. A myriad of materials will be available ranging from felt, fabric, buttons, plastic, paint, and more to encourage imaginations to soar. The wishing houses can be suspended on the large tree of life constructed by the artists. The whimsical tree is fabricated out of folded cardboard and miles of Kraft paper. The tree and constructed houses will be displayed at Portland Public Library. Participants may also bring their creations home if they prefer.
