Prior to founding DPTP, Lloyd was the Head Athletic Trainer and Lead Physical Therapist for the Brooklyn Nets NBA franchise, after spending two seasons as the team’s director of physical therapy. He was awarded the NBA’s Assistant Athletic Trainer of the Year award in his first season with the team. Before joining the Nets, he worked with the U.S. Marine Corps Special Operations. The Falmouth, Maine native has also spent time with the Boston Celtics, Indiana Pacers, New England Patriots, Providence College Friars, and Brown Bears. He received his Bachelor of Science and Doctorate of Physical Therapy degrees from Northeastern University, and a Master of Science in Athletic Training from Bridgewater State University. He is also recognized by the American Board of Physical Therapy Specialties as a Sports Specialist, and holds the Certified Strength and Conditioning Credential.
