“Over the years Gritty’s has become part of the fabric of Maine. We want to see the mug club members, past employees, friends, and our colleagues in the Maine craft beer business and the public to stop by to say hi, have a beer and enjoy the music.”
There will be at least 8 different small batch or collaborative beers on tap. Including a rotating IPA and collaborative beers brewed with Allagash, Run of the Mill and Liquid Riot. While supplies last they’ll give away ‘burgers and ‘dogs. FREE live music will include: country music artist, Bob Emple followed by the local band, Desperate Avikados. Then OC and the Off Beats take the stage. Around 8 pm Portland area favorite, King Memphis will wrap-up the music on the Wharf St stage. But wait, there’s more! At 10pm, eighties tribute band The Awesome will play inside the brew pub. Everybody over 21 is invited to the party, no cover.
“We had a lot of fun brewing the 3 collaboration beers with the brewers from Allagash, our friend Stevie from Run of the Mill and working with the guys at Liquid Riot,” said Brew Master and founder, Ed Stebbins. “All I can say is this is going to be the party of the summer and you don’t want to miss it.”
