“I am honored to have this opportunity to help take the Chamber to the next level,” Jahnna said. “ I believe my combination of professional, volunteer and relationship building skills will help our team achieve new successes in the years ahead. Steindl will be responsible for coordinating and executing the Chamber’s internal business strategies, combining membership, events and sponsorships into a single program of work. She will coordinate with the Chamber of Commerce staff and volunteers to provide member services.
After being commissioned as an officer into the U.S. Army's infantry branch, Tony Silvernagel spent seven years on active duty in a variety of leadership and staff positions. In 2009 Tony served as an infantry platoon leader in Afghanistan, and has been stationed across the U.S. – from Alaska to Georgia.
Silvernagel then returned to school and obtained his MBA before recently relocating to Maine. Tony is a native of South Dakota and has a large veteran family history.
“I wanted to join the chamber because I love what they stand for - businesses helping one another succeed, while investing in the communities in which they reside,” Silvernagel said. “My goal is to grow the Chamber by significant numbers and help make the case for growth in the Portland region.”
Silvernagel will take on membership development duties for the Portland Regional Chamber of Commerce as the organization seeks to increase its membership.
