The Portland Regional Chamber is active in advocating on behalf
of employers and better jobs for Maine workers. With a large and
diverse number of members involved in formulating positions for
Board ratification, we take bold positions, urge our members
to adopt the study involved, and to communicate their needs to their
legislators and the Governor.
We have been active in efforts to control government spending growth,
to curtail health premium increases, and to reduce workers' compensation
