Policy Matters is the Chamber's newest public policy program. For its debut on October 13, the Chamber presented "The Oxford County Resort Casino: Good for Maine? Good for Oxford? Good for Greater Portland?" Proponents and opponents to this ballot question discussed their beliefs in a debate moderated by Chris Hall, Senior VP /Government Relations.

In support of the casino, Robert Lally (Blackear Entertainment & Mt Abram Ski Resort) and Michael Chammings (Town Manager of Oxford) presented.

In opposition, Dan Cashman (Citizens Against the Oxford Casino) and Dennis Bailey (CasinosNo!) spoke.
