What is the Day of Giving?
The Day of Giving is the Portland Regional Chamber of Commerce’s inaugural celebration honoring the essential work of non-profit organizations throughout the greater Portland region. It’s an evening dedicated to recognizing the role these organizations play in our community’s vitality, awarding impactful grants, and bringing together our business and nonprofit communities in support and solidarity.

What Amount are the Grants Being Awarded?
As part of the celebration, we will be awarding a total of $150,000 in funding to selected nonprofit organizations:
One (1) grant of $50,000
Two (2) grants of $25,000
Five (5) grants of $10,000
One (1) grant of $50,000
Two (2) grants of $25,000
Five (5) grants of $10,000
How Can My Organization Apply for a Day of Giving Grant?
Grant applications are available now and can be submitted through the Chamber’s Online Grant Application [LINKED HERE].* Interested non-profits should apply by the posted deadline (September 12, 2025) and plan to attend the Day of Giving event. Attendance is encouraged to help build visibility and community connections.
*Grant Applications are submitted through Google Forms and will require a google/gmail account. If this is prohibitive please reach out to [email protected]
Do I Need to Be a Chamber Member to Apply?
Yes. All regional nonprofit organizations are invited to apply for the grants pending confirmed Chamber membership by November 13, 2025.
All members of the region’s business community are welcome to attend the event, regardless of Chamber membership status!
