What is Day of Giving?
One Night. One Community. $200,000 in Impact.

Day of Giving is the Chamber’s annual celebration of the nonprofit organizations strengthening Greater Portland. Join business and community leaders for an evening of connection, recognition, and the announcement of $200,000 in grant funding.

Who Should Attend?

Everyone is welcome.
Whether you're a nonprofit leader, grant applicant, Chamber member, business professional, philanthropist, or passionate community supporter, Day of Giving is your opportunity to connect, celebrate, and be part of something bigger.

Weather you're applying for a grant or looking to connect with and support local causes, all are welcome!

How Much Grant Funding Is Available?

The Portland Regional Chamber of Commerce will award $200,000 in grant funding to eligible nonprofit organizations serving the Greater Portland region.
Grant awards will vary based on demonstrated community impact, organizational need, and alignment with the program's funding priorities.

How Can My Organization Apply for a Day of Giving Grant?

Applications are now open.
Eligible nonprofits may apply through the Chamber's online grant application by September 11, 2026.
Grant recipients will be announced during Day of Giving on November 12, 2026.

Applications are submitted through Google Forms and require a Google/Gmail account. If this presents a barrier, please contact [email protected].

Do I Need to Be a Chamber Member to Apply?

Yes. Applicants must be Portland Regional Chamber of Commerce members in good standing at the time of the event to be eligible for grant funding.
Not applying? We'd still love to have you join us. Day of Giving is open to everyone who wants to celebrate and support the nonprofit organizations strengthening our region.

What Can I Expect at the Event?

An inspiring evening featuring:
The announcement of $200,000 in grant funding
Networking with nonprofit, business, and community leaders
Light hors d'oeuvres and refreshments
Stories of impact that celebrate the organizations transforming our community

How Can I Support the Day of Giving if I'm Not a Non-Profit?
