Former Penguins draft pick joins Mariners blue line PORTLAND, ME – October 14, 2019 – A Mariners defensive core already filled with experience, added even more on Monday, as the Hartford Wolf Pack announced the assignment of defenseman Jeff Taylor to Maine. Taylor was a 2014 draft choice of the Pittsburgh Penguins and has been a professional since 2017.
Cammarata scores twice late in third, but Thunder hold on PORTLAND, ME – October 11, 2019 – True to their comeback spirit from last season, the Maine Mariners attempted to erase a three goal deficit late in the third period, but ultimately fell short in their rally, dropping a 5-2 opening night decision to the Adirondack Thunder. Commercial property owner forum on November 1 at 11:30 AM Residential property owner forum on November 25 at 5:00 PM PORTLAND, Maine -- As part of the City’s revaluation process, the Assessor’s Office will be hosting two upcoming forums to further detail the process and lets owners know what to expect. Commercial property owners are invited to a lunch and learn session on Friday, November 1, 2019 from 11:30 AM to 12:30 PM at the Portland Public Library’s Rines Auditorium. The session will focus on the ins and outs of the commercial appraisal process in municipal revaluations, and allow for owners to hear directly from the experts conducting the current revaluation project.
Tolkinen returns as captain, three alternates named PORTLAND, ME – October 9th, 2019 – The Mariners announced their 2019-20 captains during an open practice session on Tuesday night at the Cross Insurance Arena. Returning defenseman Zach Tolkinen reclaims the captaincy, while defenseman Scott Savage and forward Terrence Wallin will once again serve as alternates. Joining them will be defenseman Marc-Olivier Crevier-Morin, who was signed as a free agent in the offseason.
Maine will receive future considerations PORTLAND, ME – October 9th, 2019 – The Mariners have traded forward Brett Supinski to the Idaho Steelheads in exchange for future considerations, the team announced Wednesday. Supinski is a rookie forward out of Union College, whom the Mariners signed to an SPC over the summer.
Rangers draft pick added to Mariners blue line PORTLAND, ME – October 8th, 2019 – Defenseman Brandon Crawley was reassigned to the Mariners from the Hartford Wolf Pack by the New York Rangers on Tuesday. Crawley is a 2017 fourth round draft pick of the Rangers and has spent the previous two full seasons with the Wolf Pack.
Former Mariners voice and current Bruins TV personality to make appearance PORTLAND, ME – October 7, 2019 – Boston Bruins television host, former Maine Mariners play-by-play announcer, and New England sportscasting legend Dale Arnold will return to the Cross Insurance Arena on Friday, October 25th as part of “New England Sports Night,” as the Mariners host the Newfoundland Growlers at 7:15 PM.
Power forward made big impact on 2018-19 team PORTLAND, ME – October 7th, 2019 – The Mariners have added forward Morgan Adams-Moisan to their training camp roster, as assigned by the AHL’s Laval Rocket. Adams-Moisan was the team’s fourth leading goal scorer in 2018-19, as he became a fan favorite in the Mariners lineup.
