One of the biggest challenges that businesses face is increasing revenue by finding - and retaining - profitable customers. To address this need, the Portland Regional Chamber developed LINQ:
The goal is to help members expand their businesses by developing meaningful relationships and sharing opportunities for new business with other vetted professionals.
How LINQ Works:
Meetings are held once per week for 90 minutes, either in the Chamber board room or at an off-site location determined by the group. Every LINQ meeting consists of the following:
Introductions and Connections – There is one “seat” per business type in each LINQ group in order to foster collaboration rather than competition among group members. Each group member has the opportunity to introduce themselves and their company every time the group meets. Members are also encouraged to meet other members one-on-one outside of the weekly meeting.
Presentations – During each meeting, one group member will give a more detailed presentation of his or her business.
Referrals & Collaborations – During the final few minutes of the meeting, members will offer referrals, note the one-on-one meetings they had during the previous week and share testimonials about other group members as appropriate.
- Learn about people and professions in multiple industries
- Integrate resources and relationships to target real growth
- Network to gain trusted partners across industries
- Qualify leads and referrals for optimal outcomes
