In Focus

The In Focus event series was established in 2015 with the help of the Maine Development Foundation and the Realize Maine Network who provided a grant to fund the first initial events.

​Today the In Focus event series has brought together hundreds of community members and continues to provide a means for young people to learn about nonprofits, identify opportunities to volunteer, offer free professional services, and serve on nonprofit boards within the Greater Portland area.

Stemming from the In Focus event series, PROPEL has created the New Mainer Culinary Entrepreneur Program to support New Mainer, culinary entrepreneurs.
