Bar Harbor, Maine – Bar Harbor Bank & Trust collected more than 3,000 food items during the bank’s 31st Annual “Food for Good” Food Drive. Between October 21 and November 22, 2019, customers and employees dropped off non-perishable food items at Bar Harbor Bank & Trust branches to help our neighbors in need. The collected items were then delivered to over 30 food pantries across Maine, New Hampshire, and Vermont.
The donations were part of the bank’s Customer Appreciation Week and Employee Appreciation Night. Camden, Maine, November 26, 2019 – This fall, Camden National Bank celebrated its Customer Appreciation Week, highlighted by a $10,000 donation to five homeless shelters in Maine. The shelters receiving funds all provide vital support to Maine youth and teens. The bank’s employees also donated more than 625 pounds of toiletry items, collected at the bank’s 2019 Employee Appreciation Night, to local homeless shelters. The unrestricted funding and in-kind donations are part of the bank’s larger Hope@Home program which has provided more than $440,000 to homeless shelters in the bank’s service area over the past five years.
WATERVILLE, Maine - The Maine Children’s Home for Little Wanderers is in urgent need of donations for their Christmas Program to help support over 1,700 children throughout the state of Maine. Each year, the Christmas Program at the Maine Children’s Home distributes boxes of gifts and clothing to more than 1,700 children who are financially disadvantaged. Each box typically contains two sets of hats and mittens, pajamas, an outfit of clothing, a coloring/activity book, crayons or markers, two toys, and a game for the family to share.

Mariners outshot 31-18 in loss NORFOLK, VA – November 23, 2019 – The Mariners were held to just nine shots through two periods and couldn’t dig out of a three goal deficit in the third period on Saturday night, as they fell by a score of 5-2 to the Norfolk Admirals at the Norfolk Scope. The Mariners fell back to the .500 mark at 7-7-0-1.
Mariners overpower Norfolk to even up series NORFOLK, VA – November 22, 2019 – Dillan Fox and Ryan Culkin each had four point games as the Mariners dominated the Norfolk Admirals on Friday night at the Norfolk Scope, splitting the first two games of the three game set. The Mariners scored three power play goals while killing all seven Admirals chances, and got a stellar performance from Connor LaCouvee between the pipes.
Wes McCauley Appreciation Night capped off with jersey auction PORTLAND, ME – November 22, 2019 – As part of “Wes McCauley Appreciation Night,” the Maine Mariners raised $1,440 for the Portland Hockey Trust through the auction of a pair of game-worn McCauley jerseys. Following the game on November 15th, the Mariners presented the check to the Portland Hockey Trust down on the ice.
