Mainebiz celebrates the 2019 Women to Watch on Sept. 17

Mainebiz launched its Women to Watch award recognition program as a way to bring attention to top-notch women executives, women whose daily work strengthens their organizations and by extension, Maine's economy. Now, after 10 years, Mainebiz has honored 50 women, including this year's newest honorees.

 On Tuesday, September 17th, Mainebiz will be celebrating these inspirational leaders at the 2019 Mainebiz Women to Watch Reception. This year’s honorees are: Mary Allen Lindemann, co-founder of Coffee By Design; Betsy Biemann, CEO of Coastal Enterprises Inc.; Kim Swan, president of The Swan Agency Sotheby’s International Realty and Swan Hospitality Group; and Liz Cotter Schlax, President and CEO of United Way of Greater Portland.

The Women to Watch reception will be held from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. at Halo at the Point, 10 Thompson’s Point, Portland. In addition to a special presentation, guests will enjoy passed hors d'oeuvres, 1 free drink, a cash bar, and great face-to-face networking with past and present honorees as well as other business executives.
