Olympia Snowe Women’s Leadership Institute Announces New Board Members

PORTLAND, ME — The Olympia Snowe Women’s Leadership Institute voted in and warmly welcomed two new members to its Board of Directors:

JoAnn Leon
JoAnn currently serves as Senior Vice President of Retail Operational Risk at TD Bank—where she has worked for over 30 years. She oversees a team of more than 100 employees focused on ensuring the operational integrity of the Store network. JoAnn has been an Olympia’s Leaders Advisor with the Institute for three years, and her senior cohort from Medomak Valley High School will graduate in May. JoAnn is also on the Institute’s Leaders Network and is active in Women in Leadership events. She lives in Scarborough with her husband and two teenage daughters.

Robin Hodgskin, CFP®
Robin currently serves as Senior Vice President at The Portland Maine Branch of Morgan Stanley—where she has worked for over 30 years. Robin was an Olympia’s Leaders Advisor for the Institute’s inaugural class, and her cohort from Oak Hill High School graduated in 2018. She is also on the Institute’s Advisory Network and Leaders Network. Robin is a past Board Director for the Maine Women’s Fund and Women Standing Together, serves on her local Church Council, and is active with Bates College Alumni. She lives in Yarmouth with her husband and occasionally their three children.
 
JoAnn and Robin will be joining current Board members:  The Honorable Olympia J. Snowe—Honorary Chair, Cary Olson Cartwright—Chair, Betsey Timm—Treasurer, Catherine Lamson—Secretary, Annie Drew, Laurie Fisher, Katie Fullam Harris, Sharon Miller, Dianne Nason, Deanna Sherman, Karen Stram, and Kari Suva.

About the Olympia Snowe Women’s Leadership Institute
The Olympia Snowe Women's Leadership Institute is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization dedicated to raising the confidence and aspirations of high school girls by helping them develop the skills required to be leaders in their lives, families, careers, and communities. The Institute was founded by Senator Olympia J. Snowe in 2015 to address the decreasing confidence levels of young women in Maine.
