Six New Professionals Join the Sebago Team

 SOUTH PORTLAND, Maine – Sebago Technics, a Maine-based, employee-owned, engineering consulting firm, is pleased to welcome six new professionals to the Sebago Team:

 Donna Larson, AICP – joins as Community Planner. Ms. Larson brings over 30 years of experience in comprehensive planning, strategic planning, ordinance development, economic and community development and grant writing. Donna holds a B.S. in Soil Science from the University of Maine and a Master’s degree in Public Policy and Planning from the University of Southern Maine.
 
Sophia Cooper – joins as CAD Technician. Sophia interned with Sebago Technics since last May in a CAD support role. Upon graduating with a degree in Architecture and Engineering from Southern Maine Community College, she has been hired to a full-time position. 
 
Cory Cormier, P.E. – joins as Senior Project Engineer. Cory is a graduate of Poland Regional High School (PRHS) and Worcester Polytechnic Institute (WPI). While at WPI he earned both Bachelor and Master of Science degrees in Civil Engineering. He has more than 8 years of experience working for consulting firms in the Greater Boston and Metro West areas of Massachusetts on a variety of commercial, municipal, private and international projects. He’s glad to be back in Maine and is currently residing in Poland.
 
Alex Jakubowski – joins as a Survey Technician.  Alex is originally from Vermont and graduated from the University of Maine with a degree in Surveying Engineering Technology.  Alex has prior experience working for survey companies in Maine and Vermont.  While at UMaine he was a member of the American Congress of Surveying and Mapping Student Chapter and of the Woodsmen Team.  He enjoys fishing and hunting and is currently residing in Gorham.
 
Jodaliza Feliz – joins as a Civil Engineer.  Jodaliza has just graduated from the University of Maine with a degree in Civil and Environmental Engineering.  While at UMaine she interned with the Facilities Management Department, volunteered with Volunteers of America and served as President of the National Society of Black Engineers.  Originally from the Bronx in New York City, Jodaliza is now residing in South Portland.
 
Matthew Orr – joins as Civil Engineer.  Matt has a degree in Civil Engineering from the University of Maine and recently graduated with a Master’s in Business Administration also from UMaine.  Matt earned his Intern Engineer certificate in NY and materials testing certifications in Concrete and Nuclear Density.  He enjoys sports and community service. He is from Rouses Point, NY and is now residing in Gorham.
