UNITED WAY OF GREATER PORTLAND MOVES TO FOREST AVENUE

Who: United Way of Greater Portland
What: United Way of Greater Portland relocates to Portland’s Forest Avenue.
When: June 15, 2020
Where:  550 Forest Avenue, Suite #100, Portland, ME, 04101
Why: This new location is the start of another chapter in our 90+ year history. We spent the previous ten years at One Canal Plaza in downtown Portland. Our old office served us well, and we made great memories there, but we couldn't be more excited about our new space. We're looking forward to meeting our new neighbors, sharing our new community space, and supporting the restaurants and businesses within an easy walking distance of the new location!
Please note United Way of Greater Portland staff will continue to work in a remote capacity until further notice.

About United Way of Greater Portland:
For over 90 years, United Way of Greater Portland (UWGP)’s mission has been to improve people’s lives by mobilizing the caring power of our community. Today, UWGP unites individuals and organizations around our community’s shared vision, Thrive2027, three 10-year goals to improve education, financial stability, and health for every person in Greater Portland. With community partners, UWGP builds on strategies that are known to achieve the best results, and rigorously evaluates progress toward those goals. Everyone has a role to play in recovering, rebuilding, and reimaging a thriving community for all, and UWGP actively seeks to engage donors, advocates, and volunteers to create measurable, long-lasting community change.
