USM BUSINESS STUDENTS LAUNCH INAUGURAL HUSKY BUSINESS CHALLENGE

 GORHAM, ME- May 4, 2019- Students enrolled in Sport Facility Management at the University of Southern Maine are launching the inaugural Husky Business Challenge, a friendly competition between businesses in Southern Maine held at the Field House at Costello Sports Complex on the USM Gorham campus.

Businesses of all sizes are invited to register for the half-day event, during which companies will compete in activities including corn hole, basketball shootouts, and can jam, among others. Teams will also have the opportunity to earn points through donation-based competitions which with the goal of collecting items for Preble Street and the Gorham Food Pantry.

Check-in begins at 7:30 a.m., games begin at 9:00 a.m., and the award ceremony begins at 12:30 p.m.
